Frequently Asked Questions About Virtual Tastings

What is it?

Our Virtual Hosted Tastings are similar to the experience you would have in our Napa Valley or Sierra Foothills tasting rooms, only this is virtual! You and your guests will have the undivided attention of one of our knowledgable hosts who will tell you about the wines, recommended food pairings, and all things Rombauer.

How long, how many people, and what platform?

Our tastings usually last between 1-1.5 hours and we can host intimate groups of 2-5 people, interactive groups of 6-30, and even large tastings of 100+. We typically use Zoom, but if you would like to use another platform, we simply ask that you set up the meeting link. We can either send the invitation out to your guests or you are welcome to distribute it with the link yourself.

What about the wines?

Our Virtual Tastings are completely customizable, tailored to the wines you choose to taste. Don’t know what you’d like? Our Virtual Tasting Experts can help with recommendations. We suggest at least three wines though we are happy to accommodate as many or as few as you might like.

Wine delivery questions?

We can ship to most states except Arkansas (AR), Delaware (DE), Indiana (IN), Mississippi (MS), New Jersey (NJ), Ohio (OH), Rhode Island (RI), Utah (UT), and West Virginia (WV) though we are able to provide information for third party shipping services which may be able to ship wines to those states. It usually takes 5-10 business days after placing an order for your wine to be delivered.
