Shipping
Can I receive wine club shipments in my state?
Currently, we cannot send wine club shipments to the following states: Alaska (AK), Arkansas (AR), Delaware (DE), Indiana (IN), Louisiana (LA), Mississippi (MS), New Jersey (NJ), Rhode Island (RI), Utah (UT), and West Virginia (WV).
Do I need to sign up for a club online?
Yes, but you may also sign up for our wine clubs by calling (866) 280-2582
What is the fee to join your club?
There is no initial membership fee.
What is your wine club cancellation policy?
While we hope you truly enjoy our club and want to stay a member, you may cancel at any time through the My Account on your profile or simply emailing us at sharejoy@rombauer.com.
How do I join an additional wine club or change the club that I am in?
You can add a club or change your club by logging into your account on our website, calling 866.280.2582 (CLUB) or emailing wineclub@rombauer.com.
Do you charge sales tax?
All wine club shipments and other purchases are subject to sales tax if applicable.
What if I realize my shipping address has not been updated and my wine has shipped?
Contact us immediately at 866.280.2582 or wineclub@rombauer.com. If it is early enough, our staff can contact the carrier to intercept and re-route your shipment. Members are responsible for any charges incurred for redirected or returned shipments.
What if I am not available to sign for my shipment?
The carrier will make three attempts to deliver your package. Members are responsible for any charges incurred for redirected or returned shipments.
How will I know when my wine club shipment has been sent?
Club members will be notified by email before their shipment leaves our warehouse.
I received a gel pack in a shipment. Can I reuse the pack? How do I dispose of the pack?
Absolutely! Gel ice packs can be reused to chill food and beverages.
There are two ways to dispose of the gel packs. The outside packaging is recyclable and the gel can be buried next to plants for a time-release watering. The gel packs are also fit for the trash but we recommend reusing them to keep food and beverages cold.
What address should I use for shipping?
All wine club shipments and online purchases require an adult signature of someone 21 years or older at time of delivery. We recommend shipments be sent to a business address, or a local FedEx/ UPS store for pick-up.
I would like to pick up my shipment. How do I do that?
You will receive an email prior to our processing of your shipment. At that time, you are able to go into the order and mark it for pick up and we will hold it for you for a period of time.

How do I update billing, contact or shipping information for wine club?
You can update your information by logging into your account on our website. Once logged in, click on “Manage Club Subscription,” select the club you wish to edit, and then make your necessary changes. Please remember to save your updated information.

Why do you need an email address for my wine club membership?
The majority of our communication with wine club members is via email, thus it is important to keep a current email address on file.
When do wine club benefits begin?
Membership benefits are effective after the first club order is received. Members who join a club during the month that it is processing will receive that shipment, unless requested otherwise.
Visitation
Do you charge for tastings? What should we expect?
Enjoy a tasting of five of our best-known and beloved wines, along with limited-production and single-vineyard bottlings, for $25. Our tastings run about 60 minutes. Reservations are required for tastings. Please note that due to limited space, we cannot accommodate parties of more than 6 guests.
Do you serve food at the winery?
At both of our locations, guests are welcome to bring a picnic to enjoy in our outdoor areas. In St. Helena, picnic tables are available to Tasting Room visitors by a reservation for wines by the glass or bottle. In Plymouth, we welcome guests to bring their own food to enjoy outside all days of the week.
If you would like to pick up picnic supplies on your way to the wineries, there are a number of purveyors close by, including Sunshine Foods in St. Helena and Cal Mart in Calistoga. Our Sierra Foothills location offers a selection of picnic fixings as well, with Amador Vintage Market and The Kitchen at Helwig nearby.
Are you dog-friendly?
We welcome our well-behaved fur friends in our outdoor spaces at both of our tasting rooms.
What are your hours of operation?
Retail sales and tastings by appointment are available at our Napa Valley location 10 am – 5 pm daily, with the last appointment at 4:15 pm. Our Sierra Foothills location is open daily, 10 am – 5 pm, with the last appointment at 4 pm.

Wine is a perishable product and must be handled carefully. Heat, cold and light can damage the wine. We recommend storing your wine in a dark, temperature-controlled environment at about 60 degrees. If you are traveling by car to either of our tasting rooms during the warm weather season, we recommend bringing a cooler for wine transportation.
What is your return policy?
At Rombauer Vineyards, one of our goals is to ensure Joyful moments and memories in all interactions with our customers. While we cannot guarantee a refund, if you are at all unhappy with the wine you ordered from us, please reach out and one of our team will try to assist you. Reasons for a refund will vary and may not always apply.
How do I return my wine?
If you’re not 100% satisfied with any of the wines you receive from us, simply contact us at (866) 280.2582 within a year of purchase and we’ll happily send you a replacement.
What do I do if the wine I ordered is damaged?
Despite our best efforts to secure wine shipments, wine bottles are fragile and issues arise from time to time. Contact our member services team and we will rectify the situation quickly.
Are there any restrictions?
Please note that we will happily replace any wines purchased directly from the winery, given that they are still available; however we cannot replace Rombauer wines purchased from other wine retailers or restaurants. In rare instances, we reserve the right to deny our return policy to customers whom we suspect are attempting to abuse the policy.

Do I need to be home to receive my wine?
Deliveries require the signature of someone over the age of 21. The carrier will ask for a valid government-issued photo ID to be scanned for verification.
Wine Club Terms & Conditions:
- A member must be present to receive benefits in our Tasting Rooms.
- Your credit card will be billed prior to the scheduled date of each shipment. Wine Club memberships will continue until you notify us of cancellation.
- Prior to cancellation, we ask that members accept at least two wine club shipments. An administrative fee will be charged for early termination.
- All club shipments require an adult signature (21+ years) at time of delivery. We recommend having shipments sent to a business address when possible.
- We ask that you notify us of address changes before club shipments are processed. Charges incurred for redirected or returned shipments are the member’s responsibility.
- To ensure our wines reach you in pristine condition, all shipments are subject to weather holds. Rombauer Vineyards is not responsible for temperature fluctuations during or after shipments.
- We notify will-call members by email when shipments are ready to be picked up so that we can learn your location preference. With limited storage, we ask that you pick up your club order within 60 days. If this isn’t possible, we will ship the wines to you at your expense.
- We send most member communication via email, so please notify us right away if your email changes.
