Ingredients

  • 3 ripe yet slightly firm mangos, diced (~3.5 cups)
  • ¼ cup finely chopped red onion
  • ¼ cup chopped cilantro
  • ½ jalapeño, seeded and minced (add seeds if you like heat)
  • Juice (and zest) of 1 lime
  • ⅛–¼ tsp salt (to taste)
  • Pinch of chili powder (optional)

1Step 1

Carefully dice mangos and place in a medium bowl.

2Step 2

Add onion, cilantro, jalapeño, lime juice & zest, and salt. Stir gently to combine, taste, adjust lime or salt.

3Let sit before serving

Let salsa mellow for at least 15 min in fridge, then serve with tortilla chips or alongside grilled fish/chicken.
