Rombauer Vineyards has a long history of supporting military veterans, starting with winery founder, Koerner Rombauer. Koerner, a member of the California Air National Guard and commercial pilot, was a tireless champion for a number of veteran and aviation associations for several decades. Koerner’s grandson, Seth Blackwood, is currently an active member of the US Air Force.

In their honor, as well as in honor of all veterans and active members of our military, Rombauer Vineyards makes regular donations to the Gary Sinise Foundation. Established by actor and philanthropist Gary Sinise, the Foundation creates and supports unique programs designed to entertain, educate, inspire, strengthen and build communities among the veteran population.
