Gel ice packs can be reused to chill food and beverages. There are two ways to dispose of the gel packs. The outside packaging is recyclable and the gel can be buried next to plants for a time-release watering. The gel packs are also fit for the trash but we recommend reusing them to keep food and beverages cold.
