2026 Spring Release Party
Walk through our caves before you enjoy Hog Island oysters and mingle with fellow Rombauer friends and staff members. Join your fellow Rombauer enthusiasts as we set sail across the iconic bay toward the historic and beautiful Angel Island.
This intimate dining experience with friends from Rombauer will be one to remember. Enjoy a memorable voyage on the waters of the SF Bay, taking in stunning views of the city skyline, Alcatraz, and the Golden Gate Bridge. Upon arrival at Angel Island, we will indulge in a delicious, freshly prepared paella, perfectly paired with your favorite Rombauer wines. We’ll then set sail and enjoy a relaxing cruise back to home port, closing out an unforgettable day on the water.

Pick up a picnic in Napa
Calistoga:
Check out Sam’s General Store. A local’s secret favorite spot, this charming hideaway offers prepared picnic baskets for a truly picturesque experience or choose your own bites from their standalone menu which features both breakfast and lunch offerings. We recommend picking up a Mighty Matcha Iced Latte with almond milk while you’re there.
Thinking about something on the lighter side? Cal Mart on Lincoln Avenue has a salad bar as well as other standard grocery market offerings.
St. Helena:
In the mood for sandwiches? Head to Giugni’s on Main Street in St. Helena. This unassuming deli has been serving sandwiches to St. Helenans since 1911. Everything is delicious (and large) and we recommend you order online in advance as it’s pretty popular.
Looking for more than just sandwiches? Sunshine Market offers a variety of to-go options from pasta and potato salad to sushi. They have larger containers as well so you may scale up depending on how many people are in your group. While you’re there, you also can’t ignore one of the best cheese selections in the North Bay.
Oakville:
It’s hard to miss Oakville Grocery as you drive up Highway 29. Featuring a variety of high-end lunch and breakfast options. Make sure to leave extra time when you stop as it is often very busy.
Yountville:
Bouchon Bakery is a Napa Valley institution for a reason. While their traditional picnic options are limited (though their Ham and Cheese baguette is fantastic!), the real reason to go there is for their epic pastries. Pick up a few for a sweet end to your picnic. The line can be very long, but if you love pastries, it’s well worth the wait.
Napa:
A relative newcomer to the picnic scene in Napa Valley is First & Franklin Deli. Located downtown at First and Franklin Streets (unsurprisingly 😊), this deli offers a variety of sandwiches and limited salads and is a convenient stop for those staying downtown before you head up to visit us.

Membership Policies Part 1
- A member must be present to receive benefits in our Tasting Rooms.
- Your credit card will be billed prior to the scheduled date of each shipment. Wine Club memberships will continue until you notify us of cancellation.
- Prior to cancellation, we ask that members receive at least two wine club shipments.
- All club shipments require an adult signature (21+ years) at time of delivery. We recommend having shipments sent to a business address when possible.
- There is a 60-day deadline pickup window for all will-call orders.
- We ask that you notify us of address changes before club shipments are processed.
- Charges incurred for redirected or returned shipments are the member’s responsibility.
Membership Policies Part 2
- To ensure our wines reach you in pristine condition, all shipments are subject to weather holds in the instances of extreme weather (hot or cold) en route to the final destination. Rombauer Vineyards is not responsible for temperature fluctuations during or after shipments.
- We send most member communication via email, so please notify us right away if your email changes.
- Upon signup, you will be charged for the most recent club package to activate your club benefits.
