Flavor Profiles
Aromas of yellow peach, guava, and bright meyer lemon are found on the nose. These ripe fruit flavors continue on the palate with notes of creamy vanilla and buttery nuances. Rombauer’s signature bright acidity frames the creamy mid-palate with each sip.
This wine is sourced from estate vineyards and select growers in the Carneros region. This includes the Sangiacomo family — long-term grower partners who have farmed their land for three generations. 2024 was another classic vintage withgood winter rain and a moderate spring that ended with warm spells in September. These perfect conditions provided optimal fruit ripeness while still preserving the beautiful acidity and body for which Rombauer wines are known.
The grapes were gently whole-cluster pressed before the juice was pumped to tank to cold-settle overnight. It was then racked to barrel for primary and malolactic fermentations. The lees were stirred every 7 to 10 days to give the wine rich flavors and a creamy texture.
