The 2012 vintage of our El Dorado Zinfandel is our first from this vineyard in over a decade.
A deep, dark color and crimson hue reflect this wine’s rich, complex character. Aromas of ripe blackberry, cranberry and faint orange peel are followed by intense, concentrated flavors of dark berries, cedar spice and black pepper. Sweet, jammy fruit, a touch of vanilla and fine-grained tannins lead to a lengthy finish. Enjoy now through 2018.
This wine is dark red with a red/purple hue. Aromas of ripe cherry, raspberry, cinnamon and nutmeg leap from the glass, followed by a supporting cast of red currant and anise. Full-bodied and plush, the palate has rare weight and texture yet remains balanced. Notes of ripe cherry and cinnamon linger on the finish.
This 2012 vintage delivers classic Rombauer Zinfandel. The weight and dimension are immediately apparent by the dark purplish-ruby color. Ripe boysenberry, clove, black pepper and hints of raspberry aromas perfume from the glass. Plush and velvety flavors of dark berry fruits and vanilla flood the palate. A lengthy finish lingers for several minutes. Enjoy now through 2018.
A stunning example of the vintage. Ruby red color coats the glass. Slightly floral with a punch of concentrated plum, dark berry fruit and orange peel. Dense and rich, an unforgettable saturation of voluptuous, jammy flavors fold together. Sweet layers of black fruit build depth on the back palate. Finishing with nuances of vanilla and boysenberry jam that encourage another taste. Enjoy now through 2018.
